Late 19th/early 20th century Doulton Burslem Vellum two-handled vase, hand painted with reverse panels of roses and foliage to the body, having griffin handles and gilt scroll decoration overall, standing on a circular moulded base. 52cm high approximately. Brown printed marks to the base. Reg no. 164934.

Possibly have had a cover which is not present. Rather grubby overall. Minor wear in places to the gilded but no other obvious damage, chips, cracks or restoration noted.
